Hmmm, I don't think that is what was going on. I hadn't shutdown yet.
I had just finished the install, created a /mnt/hda3 dir, then did a
"mount -t ext2 /dev/hda3 /mnt/hda3". hda3 is my / slink partition.
I'll see if I get the same message later this evening when I go to
install the potato packages that are stored on hda3.
