Huh... I don't know.
BTW, there is also /proc/bus/pccard/, but it doesn't seem
straightforward to use that. I agree we should just use the user's
answer to the PCMCIA question anthony suggested rather than what we're
doing now. I guess you'll have to set a global var ...
