I have a perl-5.005-base NMU sitting in http://master.debian.org/~tausq/nmu/ right now. Will be uploading that to master tomorrow. Joey Hess has taken a look at it and verified that it works with debconf. I have also uploaded a new modconf NMU to master's incoming. It adds a lot of module descriptions that it "mines" out from the kernel sources. What is needed now is translation of these descriptions. The modconf source has also been reorganized to allow for more flexibility. Moreover, a few of the messages in eval_* have changed. Translators -- please change them as appropriate. The ones I changed are: msg_Remove_l msg_Install_l msg_enter_arguments_l msg_Desc_not_avail (new) one last thing -- in modconf, there are two variables: CFGFILE=/etc/conf.modules MODULESFILE=/etc/modules MODUTILSDIR=$Target/etc/modutils I don't understand why CFGFILE and MODULESFILE are not pointing to $Target.
