Cool.  I did a little research, and apparently libc6 supports up to 128
characters (libc5 was limited to 8 for at least some things), so the only
issues are (1) utilities, most of which I imagine are fixed by now, and
(2) interop with other Unices, which isn't really a newbie thing anyway.
