Hi,
On a Debian 2.1 installation the default LILO file installed includes
the line:
VGA=normal
which seems to break the LILO installation on a machine with an MDA
graphics card (instead of any other).
The symptoms are that instead of the LILO prompt a string of HEX is shown
(I got 14F I think but have seen others).
Removal of the line and rerunning LILO fixes it.

Thank you for your bug report. The bug should have been closed by
boot-floppies version 2.2.4, now in unstable (for i386, others
following shortly). Let us know if you have any more problems.

able to detect any and all kernel-supported r/w random-access devices
* dbootstrap: installation via HTTP method (net-fetch) added; messages
