Ok, I've finally upgraded my home system (via 33k6) to be sufficiently
potato-ish that I could test the patch enough to be happy to commit it.
There should be no functional changes, other than the recognition of
drives on DAC960 and SMART-II controllers.
Test reports on all types of system are welcome - please let me know if
there are any problems.
Meanwhile, I'll download linux 2.2.13 and then, hopefully, test the new,
improved CD-ROM detection code.
