I don't agree that floppy installation is obsolete, in my system
(platform i386, motherboard i430VX) the HD installation hang! This not
happen with floppy installation. I never had troubles with floppy disks
installation! (disrespecting the delay in install process).
Since I believe that one of many positive points of Debian install
system is the several install flavors!
