Probably just checking in the changes would be best.

Note that general switches are defined in defaults.ent, i.e.,
supports-serial-console, supports-tftp, supports-nfsroot. I believe
these are (for the most part) already properly configured for
powerpc.  [Note to self -- dynamically populate these values based on
the defines set in dbootstrap.h!]

Let me know what I can do to help this merge!
