I am installing slink to an IDE HDD: 872 cyl, 8 heads, 125.0 MB.

I formatted the drive and began the bootstrap.

After loadin Linux and decompressing it, the process began to identify my
hardware.

It stopped with the following message:

Kernel Panic: VFS: unable to mount root fs on 03:02

Can you help me figure this out?

Previously, I had been able to completely install Debian on this same
machine.

Thanks.
