If we want to avoid dselect, the "access" and "update" parts from the
apt-get access method have to be ripped of, so that configuration of
sources.list can be done (and some way to make the user register CDs
with apt-cdrom). Or is this already been taken care of in an earlier
point of installation?

OK, so this mandatory task package with the >standard packages is
needed, as dselect will not be used, and apt-get -f install won't
install them all.
