We believe this problem was a syslinux problem which was fixed
a while ago. Unfortunately, confusing the issue is the fact that
the AHA2940 controller triggers bugs in the kernel-image-2.0.36
package (already reported many times), but that's a different
story.
We would like to confirm that this bug is fixed. Please try to
confirm that this problem is fixed using the slink boot-floppies
(2.1.9) and let us know.
