This is odd, since these two steps are just prior to the "Install OS"
step.  Unless the documentation is wrong and I don't think it is, this
is the order (does not apply to diskless machines):

         ...
         ``Partition a Hard Disk'' 
         ``Initialize and Activate a Swap Partition'' 
         ``Initialize a Linux Partition'' 
         ``Mount a Previously-Initialized Partition'' 
         ``Install Operating System Kernel and Modules'' 
         ...

I definately think the number 1 alternative should be changed to
``Configure Network''.  I would remove the current alternative,
``Initialize a linux partition''.

Just replace one as discussed above is easier and should be fine.
