"pointerize" is a "gettext-alike" set of tools for i18n'ing programs.
I've put pre-release packages on http://master.debian.org/~ezanard
I'll polish them a little (mainly adding more docs) before uploading them
to potato, but you can get them from that URL if you just want to build
boot-floppies.
