Well, kind of. I have found myself in the situation a couple of times, where I can read 1.44Mb disks, but not write them. It then becomes very hard to install. The only other way would be to have a set of 1.44Mb install disks on hand at all times - but that is a bit inconvienient. Diolch, Edward.
