cs is the two-letter ISO _language_ code for Czech.
cz has currently no meaning as an ISO language code.
CS is the ISO country code of the former Czecho-Slovakia.
CZ is the ISO _country_ code of Czech Republic.

the split had only affected the ISO _country_ code, not the
ISO _language_ code.
