Bug#31618: Frozen boot floppies don't work on Tosh laptop.

Yes.  Someone on the debian lists reported that some motherboards 
locked up on the tecra set when we first applied the patch, so 
I passed the info on, and he credited me for some reason --- I never saw the 
behaviour myself, and reading the patch, there would have to be something 
pretty strange about a m/boards that lock up on it --- but people reported it 
as happening at the time.

An alternative approach might be to use a zImage, rather than bzImage, but I 
suppose the kernel will not fit unless its bzImage ?

zImage kernels don't provoke the problem on tecras.
