Bug#31618: Frozen boot floppies don't work on Tosh laptop.

The tecra issue and the gate A20 issue are the same thing. The tecra
kernel used the same compression method of the "normal" kernel (they were
both bzImage, too big for zImage). It was patched to clear the cache and
check that the A20 gate was properly enabled.
