boot-floppies_2.0.11 is the version in Debian 2.0 (hamm) and depends on
newt0.21-dev, that is also in hamm.

boot-floppies_2.1.3 is the current version in the soon-to-be Debian 2.1
(slink) and depends on newt0.25-dev, that is also in slink
(.../dists/slink/main/binary-i386/devel/newt0.25-dev_0.25-3.deb)

newt0.30-dev is only in the unstable branch of the Debian distribution,
a.k.a. "potato", that currently doesn't have a working boot-floppies version
available (as "potato" is only a few weeks old).

AFAICT, all newt-related dependencies are fulfilled inside the same
distribution.

It may be done by adding an "update-repository" target on the top
Makefile, that checks the contents of the local repository and updates it
from a remote mirror. I'm adding that to the wishlist.
