Which version of MAKEDEV? I've got 2.3.1-10 and it still has that bug.
makedev 2.3.1-11 was rejected from Incoming:
$ cat Incoming/makedev_2.3.1-11_i386.reason
Rejected: md5sum failed
md5sum: MD5 check failed for 'makedev_2.3.1-11.diff.gz'
I will build those devices "manually" while we wait for makedev to
provide a fairly complete generic-i386 target... (as complete as it was
with the old C version would be enough).
