Re: mosix patched kernel not compiling
At this point, I'd NOT do what you are doing. Get the OpenMosix patch
for 2.4.20. Then:
apt-get install kernel-package
apt-get install kernel-source-2.4.20
-- now, patch 2.4.20...
---
cd /usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.20
make-kpkg clean
zcat /whereever/you/put/openMosix-2.4.20-2.gz | patch -p1
make-kpkg --config menu kernel_image
make-kpkg modules_image
-- the last, if you have any external kernel modules to build, alsa, etc
cd ..
dpkg --install (your new openmosix kernel)
This is approximate, and from memory. Some things might be slightly
off...
