You're the second person with this problem this week.  The problem is
that 00:00:00:00:05:09 is not the MAC address your device should have.
It should start with 00:08:9B.

My investigation with the other person led me to believe that this is
a problem with QNAP and I'll contact them to see if this is a known
problem.

In any case, I'll ask you for some debugging info off-list.

And, yes, should be able to fix it.
