Follow up on your link to Globalspec
Dear apache@packages.debian.org,
This is just a quick follow up note to my previous message regarding a
link to our sites. I don't mean to bother you, but I think my request
is worthwhile.
A few months ago I re-visited your site as part of my research and
discovered you still maintain a site link to Globalspec.
I am following up a previous e-mail to you on this topic to ask you to
link to two similar websites we publish, MacRAE'S BLUE BOOK at
www.macraesbluebook.com and the Canadian Trade Index at
www.ctidirectory.com.
Both are leading industrial directories with US and Canadian content
respectively that have just been re-designed to offer significantly
more information to on-line users.
Up to now, much of this newly released content was only available on a
paid search basis through such premium services as LexisNexis in the US
and Infomart.ca in Canada.
Combined, MacRae'sand the CTI have detailed product and company
information on over 140,000 American and Canadian manufacturers,
including links to most of them. Your users will certainly benefit
should they decide to visit the sites and explore.
You should benefit, too, as putting this link up will help increase
your site visibility and traffic as search engines such as Google and
Yahoo use the number of links out as part of their ranking system of
your search results.
Thank you again for considering the link, I certainly appreciate it.
Warm regards,
Karen Ferguson ext. 252
