Version: 0.37.0-2
Severity: normal

INSTALL.gz indicates that Apache >= 2.0.48 is required. However, I
was able to install subversion, as well as libapache2-svn, onto my
system leaving apache2 at 2.0.47.

I'm on a default testing system, using pinning to get subversion and
other goodies.

I don't know how serious a problem using an earlier version is, and I
do not have libapache2-dav-svn installed (I'm not currently using the
apache interface, but I'm about to. I'll upgrade apache first.)

Due to a newer upstream (2.0.49), the shlibs files now have >= 2.0.49,
because of which any non-binary compatibility within the 2.0.48 series
is now not relevant anymore -- versions older than 2.0.49 are now
depended-away.
