Subject: apache-ssl causes DELAYLOGIN problems on remote reboot

Package: sysvinit
Version: 2.78-4
Severity: normal

Apache-ssl on a server running in a co-location facility, where physical
access is restricted. Recently it was subjected to an unplanned reboot.
When it came back up the boot sequence prompted for the PEM pass phrase
for https key.

Because no-one was present this was not entered - but as a side
effect, although everthing was running was running, the machine was
in a state where ssh logins could not be verified - this was because
DELAYLOGIN=yes by default.

The policy manual doesn't appear to mention prompts for information
at boot time, but there should probably be some procedure, eg
   - the intallation checks for DELAYLOGIN and warns the user
or - the daemon startup has some kind of timeout waiting for input.

I've reported this against sysvinit rather than apache-ssl since
any init.d process that expects user input is going to break like this.

Hi,
due to a typo in the changelog file these bugs have not been
closed automatically. They have been fixed with apache 1.3.28.0.1-1
upload.

Thanks
Fabio
