Package: apache
Version: 1.3.26-1

I have apache installed, but not always running. Logrotate fails when apa=
che=20
is not running, but succeeds when it is, as seen below:

# /etc/init.d/apache start
Starting web server: apache.
# /usr/sbin/logrotate /etc/logrotate.conf
# /etc/init.d/apache stop
Stopping web server: apache.
# /usr/sbin/logrotate /etc/logrotate.conf
error running shared postrotate script for /var/log/apache/*.log

I think the probem is with the file /etc/logrotate.d/apache:
The line=20
/etc/init.d/apache reload
fails.

(I think this is a general problem with packages that logrotate starts/st=
ops,=20
so maybe it should be considered a bug in logrotate....)
