Bug#205887: apache: update forces Alias /doc/ /usr/share/doc/
Package: apache
Version: 1.3.27.1-2
Severity: normal
An apache update puts a line
Alias /doc/ /usr/share/doc/
into httpd.conf. This might make sense for default installs but I am using
a very different http.conf including virtual hosts etc. Every time I
update apache this brakes my setup.
The update script tells me that it did that:
Adding alias /doc/ -> /usr/share/doc/ to httpd.conf (for Debian docs).
and asks me about it:
Save these changes to the configuration files? [Y/n] y
But I have no way of seeing what else it changed and why. Apache should
use the same mechanism as other debian packages and give me the option to
look at the changes and back out or not.
