If the link is broken you must have created it wrong?
(Maybe you meant /opt/intel instead of /optintel.)
Please send the output of
ls -l /opt/intel/fce/9.1.036/bin/lib/libimf.so
ls -l /usr/lib/libimf.so

You must run ldconfig after doing this.

I think this is a good question for debian-user rather than
debian-amd64, as it is not amd64 specific.
