udev @ (kernel 2.6.12 + NVidia) = KDM failure on first start

Hi all!

After installing the udev package, I met with the following problem: after the
system boot, the KDM tries to start and fails. The X-server log says:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
(II) Setting vga for screen 0.
(**) NVIDIA(0): Depth 24, (--) framebuffer bpp 32
(==) NVIDIA(0): RGB weight 888
(==) NVIDIA(0): Default visual is TrueColor
(==) NVIDIA(0): Using gamma correction (1.0, 1.0, 1.0)
(--) NVIDIA(0): Linear framebuffer at 0xB0000000
(--) NVIDIA(0): MMIO registers at 0xFC000000
(EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to initialize the NVIDIA graphics device!
(EE) NVIDIA(0):  *** Aborting ***
(II) UnloadModule: "nvidia"
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

Fatal server error:
no screens found
---------------------------------------------------------------------------

The problem doesn't depend on X-server version, I tried both X.org and
Xfree86.

The most interesting is that if I will start the kdm manually
via /etc/init.d/kdm start -- it starts fine.

If I remove the 'udev' - everything works fine.

The installed version of udev: Version: 0.063-1, the versions of
kernel/nvidia drv/xserver - are latest.

Does anybody have any idea what can it be? :)

Best regards, Kirill.
