Mabe it is an issue of mplayer, I don't know. Now I can hear Safri Duo via
alsaplayer on chroot so it isn't from alsa part.
Make sure that you have /etc/groups /etc/shadow and /etc/passwd files the
same on main system and on chrooted. Also check if /proc and /home
directories are not mapped correctly or check mplayer settings
