Segfault on QUIT from MySQL-Clients
Hello,
since updating my amd64-sarge today (March 14, 2005), the mysqld daeman
segfaults on QUITs from clients. As it will automatically restart, this might
not be noticed immediately in a client that is performing automatic reconnects.
But at least the syslog reveals that something's been going wrong (see below).
This behavior can be reproduced with both mysql branches available as binary
amd64 packages (4.0 and 4.1). There are some reports on observing this bug in
other distributions before, e.g. http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=2426, where it
apparently turned out to be some library mismatch.
Can anyone confirm this bug for the current amd64 binary packages?
Regards,
Tom
