Problem with vncserver

Hi.

the vncserver from the equally named package doesn't work for me. It 
always logs the same error:

Feb 28 19:17:22 europa kernel: Xrealvnc[13691]: segfault at 
0000000095e2e810 rip 0000002a95c8ef57 rsp 0000007fbffff6c0 error 4

Any idea why this might be?

Well, debugging a little further, it seems that this is a problem in 
Xvnc, which segfaults at exactly the same rip value somewhere inside 
strftime (libc.so.6) s it seems.

Any idea what to do? I really need a VNC server on that machine.
