I get the same effect as soon as I do an "apt-get update" on the
downloaded partition content.
It is probably the shared libraries because, if you
init=/bin/bash-static, you can still boot into
the partition ... but you can't run anything else once you're in there.
I'll try again later on.
Can I suggest we put busybox-static into the initial tarball image for
this kind of situation ?
