I did not know about the ElfW() macro :P
In any case, that patch works, but it looks like Red Hat has created
a separate ldconfig package which access ELF structures properly, and
has the benefit of being able to read either ELF32 or ELF64 on Sparc.
So, yes, their patches do, in fact, work.
Strange that we never picked up this separate ldconfig - particularly
seeing as the ld.so package is basically useless on powerpc and alpha
except that it contains ldconfig. Am I missing something here?
