Fwd: Re: m68k mac questions2

Thanks,
You and Justin Azof say basically the same thing.
The mkdir did not work correctly it seems because it
simply created empty folders.
however, hfs sda4 did succesfully mount, now I need to
dkpg -i and give it a file path - default is /usr?
SHould I transfer the files to a minix/linux swap
first?

Also, embarrassingly,
I can not open text files, in the usr/doc/ and it
seems I don't even know how to run applications.....
I will try to install an x-windows environment, and
mySQL, and megahal??? (those are my only goals for
this machine really and I think I have the dependent
files I need), but I really need to understand the
basics I am into now, which I am not finding in the
text books for some reason.
