Try VGA8x8. The 6x11 font is badly broken; no wonder dselect crashes.

There's a Mac68k mailing list (linux-mac68k@baltimore.wwaves.com). But you
probably knew that from reading the FAQ and install guide ...

No, that's guaranteed to give trouble. But as the files are alrealy on the
MacOS partition, just copy them over to the Linux partition.
