Strange. On my system the first component of
the *:*:*:* address corresponds to the bus
number as listed by cdrecord (a39):
28,0,0 2800) 'HL-DT-ST' 'BD-RE GGW-H20L ' 'YL03' Removable CD-ROM
So how come you can address 1:0:0:0 by dev=0,0,0 ?
Did you ever try dev=1,0,0 ?
