Fortunately yes: dvd+rw-tools at http://fy.chalmers.se/~appro/linux/DVD+RW/
Contrary to its name, it burns all formats, and in my experience is a
100% replacement for cdrecord-prodvd. If you're seriously missing some
functionality, Andy is open to suggestions. There are precompiled
packages as well, much easier to start with one of those src rpms.
You'll find one on my website fine-tuned for SuSE 8.2. Others have made
some too.
