It's in the repos now. If anyone wants to try it out, make sure you have the Extras-devel repository configured and then just run "apt-get install gophernicus" as root (or use the graphical application installer).

It should be up and running (with IPv4) right after installation - just add your content to /var/gopher/.

Speaking of Mobile Firefox/Fennec, I have not looked into what it will
take to port OverbiteFF to it.

Current gopher status on the N900 is that the included MicroB browser doesn't support gopher (apparently it's been removed from the compile) but the current beta of Mobile Firefox (Fennec) does.
