I ran "pbuilder update" today for a Sid chroot on a Wheezy host. The
chroot hasn't been updated since 16th September 2012 (i.e. after the
Wheezy Freeze). Updating apt from 0.9.7.5 to 0.9.8 failed as follows:

I'm not sure if this is an apt, dpkg, pbuilder or some other package's
issue. Since apt failed to upgrade, I'm reporting it against apt
initially, but feel free to reassign.
The host system has pbuilder 0.213 installed. cowbuilder 0.70 is
installed, too, but it seems not in use, as a base.tgz has been
extracted at the beginning of the update run.
