Bug#908329: lightdm: LightDM shuts down the screen on lock and won't turn it on
Package: lightdm
Version: 1.26.0-3

I think I have a similar (or the same) issue.
Basically, when I lock the screen (via light-locker), the screen goes black,
but it doesn't turn off. Keystrokes and mouse seem to dead because they don't
turn the screen on. When I press ctrl+alt+F7, then I get the message: "This
session is locked, you'll be redirected to the login dialog in a few sec", and
after a few seconds I get the login screen. I don't even have to wait for the
redirect -- I can simply press ctrl+al+F7 and ctrl+alt+F8 (I have to press both
of them). One curious thing -- when I start typing while the screen is black,
the login form can be filled with password, and after pressing enter I can log
in.
