Package: xorg Version: 1:7.7+19 On 'buster', I log into the console and then manually run 'startx' from the command line. After X has terminated, the ownership of /dev/tty1 has changed from myself to root, thereby preventing subsequent programs from accessing it. I'm running on an aarch64 machine using the framebuffer server, but none of the X programs are running as root: my guess is that this is happening somewhere in systemd.
