  Description : an integrated file sharing solution for the GNOME Desktop

>From the homepage:

EPittance is an integrated file sharing solution for the GNOME Desktop.
It uses WebDAV and Rendezvous, via Howl, to allow users to share files
in a local network, with almost zero configuration. Assuming a working
installation of Howl, and GNOME 2.8, you need only install
gnome-icon-theme 2.9.0, and epittance, and restart nautilus. Then you
just go to the properties of a folder, and enable sharing in the
"Sharing" tab. At that point, the files are shared over WebDAV on
Rendezvous, and are visible using the service discovery support in GNOME
2.8 or Mac OS X, or any other system that supports service discovery
using Rendezvous.
