Hi folks,
We have six seconds (well, five people on public mailing
lists) for the GR labelled: "Constitutional amendment:
Condorcet/Clone Proof SSD vote tallying". It would not hurt to get a
few more sponsors for this GR.
=====================================================================================
4.2. Procedure
1. The Developers follow the Standard Resolution Procedure, below. A
resolution or amendment is introduced if proposed by any Developer
and sponsored by at least K other Developers, or if proposed by
the Project Leader or the Technical Committee.
4. The minimum discussion period is 2 weeks, but may be varied by up
to 1 week by the Project Leader. The Project Leader has a casting
vote. There is a quorum of 3Q.
7. Q is half of the square root of the number of current Developers.
K is Q or 5, whichever is the smaller. Q and K need not be
integers and are not rounded.
======================================================================
So, we only need 5 sponsors, apart from the proposer. I now
state that the formal discussion period starts at Fri May 16 23:59:59 UTC 2003,
and ends at Fri May 30 23:59:59 UTC 2003.
The sponsors to date are:
Joel Baker <fenton@debian.org>
Colin Walters <walters@debian.org>
Ben Collins <bcollins@debian.org>
Simon Law <sfllaw@engmail.uwaterloo.ca>
Fabio Massimo Di Nitto <fabbione@fabbione.net>
