Should I try a weekly Testing build? You may need to install a backported/updated kernel. It seems that support for that card was included in kernel 2.6.34: *** http://wiki.debian.org/MacMiniIntel#Known_Issues
OK, thanks, so far so good. Using the current weekly wheezy netinst, it recognizes the Ethernet and installs OK. But I haven't been able to get it to boot yet, since at the end of the installation, when I added the line
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX "nomodeset reboot=pci" to /etc/default/grub, I then forgot to run update-grub!!So on boot, it enters GRUB, some lines scroll up the screen but then I get weird flashing color effects and nothing else happens. I hope my forgetting to update-grub is the only problem.
I'll try again. Cheers, Mike. --------------------------------------------------------------- Mike Hore mike_hore@aapt.net.au ---------------------------------------------------------------
