I'm quite sure it's not from google. Comparing the mail:

"- Over 2,700 megabytes (two gigabytes) of free storage"

with the webpage:

"Lots of space
Over 7409.426867 megabytes (and counting) of free storage."

is not very convincing. At least it would be a strange way of
advertising:-))
