Has anyone try to install binutils in 1.3?

Hi all,

When installing binutils_2.8.1-1_i386.deb I got dependency error, so I did it
again with libbfd2.8_2.8-1.deb which I already had installed. Here is what
happened:

LeBox:-> dpkg -i libbfd2.8_2.8-1.deb
(Reading database ... 17956 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace libbfd2.8 2.8-1 (using libbfd2.8_2.8-1.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement libbfd2.8 ...
Setting up libbfd2.8 (2.8-1) ...

LeBox:-> dpkg -i binutils_2.8.1-1_i386.deb
(Reading database ... 17956 files and directories currently installed.)
Preparing to replace binutils 2.8.1-1 (using binutils_2.8.1-1_i386.deb) ...
Unpacking replacement binutils ...
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of binutils:
 binutils depends on libbfd2.8.1; however:
  Package libbfd2.8.1 is not installed.
dpkg: error processing binutils (--install):
 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
 binutils

I was going to post this in the bug tracking but didn't know which package was
at fault. BTW I download these packages from the ~/unstable, and I checked
~/hamm, ~/bo, and ~/Incoming to see if there was newer packages.

        Later,
        David
