problem z xindy (indeksy w LaTeXu)

Kiedy probuje skorzystac z nieoficjalnych pakietow
(http://corbu.aq.upm.es/~agmartin/linux/store/xindy/)
dostaje np.

bash-2.05a$ xindy -v
/usr/bin/../lib/xindy/xindy.run: relocation error: /usr/bin/../lib/xindy/xindy.run: undefined symbol: tgetent

Kiedy usiluje zainstalowac z plikow z http://sourceforge.net/projects/xindy/, to dostaje

bash-2.05a$ make all
Creating file defaults.xdy...
Finished defaults.xdy.
./xindy.run -q -M ./base.mem -c ../../current/src/base.lsp -o base.fas
./xindy.run: error while loading shared libraries: libncurses.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
make: *** [base.fas] Error 127

Faktycznie mam libncurses5, a nie libncurses4, ale co dalej z tym
fantem robic?
