webcam anschließen: videodev: unknown symbol
Hallo!
Ich habe eine Webcam gekauft, und wenn ich sie einstecke, sehe ich sie
in lsusb:
Bus 002 Device 004: ID 0c45:62e0 Microdia MSI Starcam Racer
aber cheese sagt "no device found".
mit dmesg erhalte ich
[ 525.317763] usb 2-1: new high-speed USB device number 4 using ehci_hcd

Wenn ich das Modul "videodev" von Hand starten will mit
$ sudo modprobe videodev
gibt es nur
ERROR: could not insert 'videodev': Invalid argument
und die gleichen Zeilen im dmesg.
Das ganze ist Wheezy, Kernel:
$ uname -a

Die Kamera habe ich in einer Liste gefunden, nach der sie vom
uvcvideo-Treiber unterstützt werden müsste. Aber:
$sudo modprobe uvcvideo
ERROR: could not insert 'uvcvideo': Invalid argument
Hat jemand eine Idee? Passen da Module nicht zum Kernel?
Viele Grüße!
Hartmut
