Sorry, late response.I guess best solution would be to have a new package, containing that font file and all other package declare a dep on that new package. So, first step would be to open an ITP / RFP bug to create the new package. On the other hand: that font file has just a size of 1,5MB so the gain (i.e. the space one saves) is rather small. I don't think it is worth the energy one would have to invest.
