Bug#796120: texlive-xetex: fails to create document that worked previously: xdvipdfmx:fatal: Parsing charstring failed: (status=-1, stack=0)

Same with
- clean source
- build with curretn upstream TeX Live
- rebuilt with sid
again it works.
This is *VERY* strange.
BTW, there is a much bigger problem, namely that the fonts
are *completely* hosed have you checked that?
The output is broken, badly broken for type1 fonts.
<rant>
My guess is again that the gsfonts and TeX fonts are playing
wild here.
It is a PITA - and I really have to repeat this a tousand times,
that some st*&^*&%&^$&^$%&*%^* added glyphs to the URW Base 35
fonts (cyrillic), and then thought it is a good idea to
distribute tha tin Debian with *THE*SAME* f******* name of the fonts.
</rant>
Anyway, I will investigate, maybe it is just a temporary incompatibility
between fontspec and latex3. I will try to package up the latest
TL checkout and see if that fixes the problem.
What remains is the font problem, which I don't see that we can solve
due to gsfonts being quasi necessary.
Waahhhh....
